March is Poison Prevention Awareness Month!
For the month of March we are encouraging our pet owners to be aware of items in our households that can be toxic to our pets. Here is a list of common household foods and items that are dangerous to our pets: Alcoholic Beverages, Avacado, Chocolate(all forms), Coffee( all forms), Fatty Foods, Macadamia Nuts, Moldy or Spoiled foods, Onions, Onion Powder, Raisins, Grapes, Salt, Yeast Dough, Garlic, Products containing Xylitol(mostly gum), Antifreeze, Rat Poison. If your pet ever gets into any of these items make sure you bring them into your vet immediately!
